Main features

Mastrad’s Meat It shares a lot of similarities with the second device on our list, except it is pricier, and some users experience connectivity issues. But Meat It still deserved a high place on our list because of its many great features. For starters, just like ThermoReady, it is resistant to heat up to 300 degrees. However, the detection range is similar to Meater’s – up to 100 degrees. It has an app that displays measurements that are linked to Meat It via Bluetooth. Mastrad thermometer’s range is quite decent, so using it should not be inconvenient. It is suitable for grilling, cooking, boiling, and baking.

Design and Use

Just like with Meater, Mastrad’s Meat It is also fully app controlled. It contains the main thermometer rod and a plastic case to hold it (with a lid to prevent dust accumulation if unused for a while). To use it, you would need to insert it into the meat or soup and use the app to select either an individual program or a pre-made cooking setting. It would show both the time and the inner temperature. If something cooks for long, sleep mode gets activated to save battery.

🥩 Value

Meat It is the most expensive device on this list. A lot of things explain such cost – innovative operation, app controls, high-temperature tolerance, and a greater variety of things it can measure when compared to similar devices. But some users found the app difficult to connect to, so it had to rank lower than the top two devices on this list. In general, this Mastrad’s meat thermometer would be a good investment, but only if you are willing to spend this much.
